The Importance of Full-Time Torah Study for a Young Man

The Rebbe writes that it is for the benefit of the young man and his parents that he should study in a yeshivah where Torah is learned all day, as this aligns with the will of Hashem. The Rebbe adds that he will mention their names at the Tziyun.

)

Shalom u'Vrachah!

It is simply for his benefit (also materially) and for the benefit of his parents, that for a period of time he should study in a yeshivah (in a class where only sacred studies are learned all day), since this is in accordance with the will of Hashem, as is well known. The names — I will mention them at the Tziyun.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that dedicating oneself to full-time Torah study brings blessings both spiritually and materially, benefiting not only the student but also his family. Aligning one's actions with Hashem's will brings merit and divine assistance.
