ויהא כהנ"ל בהצלחה רבה ומגלגלים זכות (טהרה ודכויי - ולא רק בנוגע לעצמו - (תחטאיני) - כ"א גם - וחיטא את הבית חולין כ"ז רע"א) ליום זכאי (ולהעיר ממש"כ בכו"פ סו"ס י"א שבזמנינו אין לחוש אפילו לשחוט אווז בטבת) - הילולא דאדה"ז שהוראתו היינו נתינת כח - ששו"ב ה"ה יר"ש ביותר וחרד על דבר ה' שלם בדעתו וכו' (הל' שחיטה ס"א סק"ב, ושקו"ט בשו"ת צ"צ יו"ד סי"ב).

Shalom u'Vrachah! [24 Tevet 5725]
May the above be with great success, and merit is brought (purity and refinement—not only regarding oneself—(techataini)—but also—and he shall purify the house; see Chullin 27a) for a meritorious day (and note what is written in Kaf HaChaim end of Siman 11 that in our times there is no concern even to slaughter a goose in Tevet)—the yahrzeit of the Alter Rebbe, whose lesson is empowerment—that a shochet must be especially G‑d-fearing and tremble at the word of G‑d, complete in his understanding, etc. (Laws of Shechitah 1:2, and discussion in Shut tzt"z Yoreh Deah Siman 12).

May it be as above: written in response to the notification about acceptance of students to the Tomchei Temimim "Hora'ah" yeshivah for shechitah studies on 24 Tevet.
