הנני לאשר קבלת ספרו Pie XII et le IIIe Reich ות"ח על שלחו לי.
ועל דבר חשיבות עבודתו בודאי למותר להאריך, ורק אוסיף שחשיבות זו אינה ענין אך ורק להיסתורי' לדורות הבאים אלא חשיבות מיוחדת נודעת לה בתקופתנו זו, כי לצערנו הרב יש משתמשים עד היום במיסיון וכולי במעשיות בדויים שלא היו ולא נבראו כדי לנתק בני ובנות ישראל מדת אבותיהם, מחיי תורה ומצוותי'. ובא ספרו ולא רק מכחיש כמה וכמה מהם אלא מוכיח שההיפך הוא האמת.
ואף שלאמתו של דבר אין תורתנו ודתנו צריכות ראי' ממקום אחר, שהרי גלוי וידוע שהתורה היא עצם חיות עם ישראל וכל פעולה נגדית חותרת מתחת יסוד קיום עמנו, קיום היחיד והכלל, אבל בכל זה יש אנשים וחוגים שמסיבות ומטעמים שונים עדיין זקוקים להוכחה בזה משטחים אחרים, אם משטח ההיסתורי', או הארכיאולוגי' וכדומה.
ומה המציל נפש אחת כאילו קיים עולם מלא, על אחת כמה וכמה המשפיע בכיוון זה על כמה מאחינו בני ישראל ומעמידם על קו האמת.
רואה אני על השער שכ' מתכונן להכין עוד עבודה באותה תקופה. ויהי רצון אשר ההצלחה תלווהו גם בזה.

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your book Pie XII et le IIIe Reich and thank you for sending it to me.
Regarding the importance of your work, it is certainly unnecessary to elaborate; I will only add that its significance is not only a matter for history and future generations but has special relevance in our own time. Unfortunately, even today there are those who use missionary activities and so forth with fabricated stories that never happened in order to sever Jewish sons and daughters from the faith of their fathers and from a life of Torah and mitzvos. Your book not only refutes many of these claims but also proves that the opposite is true.
Although in truth our Torah and faith do not require external proof—since it is well known that Torah is the very life-force of the Jewish people, and any opposing action undermines the foundation of our existence as individuals and as a nation—nevertheless, there are people and circles who, for various reasons, still require evidence from other fields such as history or archaeology and similar areas.
And if one who saves a single soul is considered as if he saved an entire world (Sanhedrin 37a), how much more so one who influences several of our fellow Jews in this direction and sets them on the path of truth.
I see from the cover that you are preparing another work on this period. May it be G‑d's will that you succeed in this as well.
