Regarding your writing about the house, etc., and what more you can do—it is understood that first and foremost (and perhaps even more important than sending books), is that the house should be run with hospitality. Especially such hospitality that is connected with supporting a bride or spreading the wellsprings of Chassidus, etc. And since a Jewish woman is indeed the foundation of the home, it is clear that Hashem gives her the strength to carry this out in a good way (even though you are correct that it is not exactly as it was before), because in spreading goodness one receives special help from Above. Surely there is no need to elaborate that this is one of the ways—and among the highest—of bringing satisfaction to the soul and doing for its elevation.
And may Hashem help you to do this with even more energy and in good health, and ultimately may Hashem bless you so that it will be with gladness of heart and also with satisfaction and joy from Yud Ches, may he live...
