לאחרי הפסק ארוך, נתקבל מכתבו ממוצש"ק כ' מרחשון, יום הולדת של כ"ק אדמו"ר (מוהרש"ב) נ"ע.
בו כותב אודות בקשת עזר מאחד המוסדות החבדי"ם אשר באה"ק ת"ו.
וידועה ההוראה, אשר אין משנים מצדקה לצדקה, אבל ביחד עם זה - כיון שקבל בקשה חדשה נוספת, בודאי שנתוסף ביכולת שלו למצוא מקור נוסף לצדקה, שהרי אין הקב"ה בא בטרוניא עם בריותיו, ובפרט ע"פ ענין ההשגחה פרטית המבואר בתורת הבעש"ט שהוא בפרטי פרטיות ועאכו"כ בעניני תורה ומצותי'. וק"ל ולכן יוסיף בפעולותיו ע"מ לעזור גם למוסד המבקש.

בו כותב: במענה לשאלת אחד שהי' שולח סכום למוסד מסוים, וכיון שקבל בקשות מעוד מוסדות רצה להפחית מהסכום הנ"ל ולחלקו גם לשאר מוסדות.

Shalom u'Vrachah! [24 Marcheshvan, 5723] After a long pause, your letter from Motzaei Shabbat Kodesh, the 20th of Marcheshvan, the birthday of the Rebbe (the Maharash) of blessed memory, was received. In it, you write about a request for assistance from one of the Chabad institutions in Eretz HaKodesh, may it be built and established.
It is known that the instruction is not to transfer funds from one charity to another. However, since you have received an additional new request, certainly your ability will increase to find an additional source for charity. For "the Holy One, blessed be He, does not make unreasonable demands on His creatures," especially according to the concept of Divine Providence as explained in the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov—that it is detailed down to every particular, and all the more so regarding matters of Torah and its mitzvot.
Therefore, you should increase your activities in order to also help the institution making the request.
