Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the 24th of Sivan, in which you write about the shalom bayis (marital harmony) situation of your son—generally, it is not customary at all to answer such matters except to the person directly involved, since only he can detail the issue as needed. As our Sages say: "A person does not know what is in his friend's heart."
Nevertheless, due to the importance and greatness of this matter and out of respect, I have come to express my opinion based on the ruling of our Torah, Toras Chaim: that peace is great in general—and even more so peace between husband and wife. In cases of disagreements between them, there is a specific directive (brought in Hilchos Ona'ah by Rabbeinu HaZaken, author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch at its end) regarding being extremely careful not to cause pain to one's wife, being careful with her honor, etc. And it is clear from your letter that this is not at all a matter concerning fear of Heaven; on the contrary—she is G‑d-fearing and observant of Torah and mitzvos.
May it be the will of Hashem that His peace should rest in your son's home in abundance; this brings increased blessing. See Esther Rabbah at its conclusion.
Since everything is by Divine Providence and based on our Sages' saying: "We only urge those who are already eager," surely as a rabbi you are active in spreading the wellsprings of Chassidus wherever possible. We have been assured: "One who comes to purify" (and it is known that Rabbeinu HaZaken was precise to purify others as well)—he is assisted.
With honor and blessing for good news in all the above.
Summary
