Mr. Shimon, may he live.
Shalom u'Vrachah!
After a very long interruption, I was pleased to receive regards from you through the rabbi of good character and energy, Shmuel Pesach Bogomilsky, may he live, as well as your letter. I was especially pleased to read at the end of your letter about soon receiving the face of our righteous Moshiach. This gives me the well-founded hope that you are ready and acting appropriately to greet our righteous Moshiach. As is understood, it does not matter to Moshiach how many dollars one will have in their pocket or how many houses one will leave behind in exile. What matters is the Jewish heart and mind and hands—in other words, that the intellect of the mind should be permeated with Torah study; the Jewish heart should feel for Torah and Judaism; and one's actions in daily life should be in this spirit and according to the instructions of our Torah of life.
And it is clearly evident that when one truly decides to conduct oneself as mentioned above with genuine strength, it is much easier than previously thought. Moreover, one can do this with good health, a positive mood, and with joy.
With blessings for good news in all the above-mentioned matters and best regards to all friends and good friends in our camp—may Hashem protect them.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that preparing for Moshiach means focusing on Torah study, heartfelt Jewish feeling, and living each day according to Torah values—not material possessions. True commitment makes this path easier and brings joy and blessing.
