און לויט דער סדרה פון היינטיגער וואך, וואס דער אנהויב פון איר איז, דער אנזאג פון השי"ת, וזאת התרומה אשר תקחו מאתם זהב וגו' ווערט געבראכט אין מדרש (תרומה פ' ל"ה) דער מאמר אמר רשב"ל לא הי' העולם ראוי להשתמש בזהב ולמה נברא בשביל המשכן, ובשבל בית המקדש.
"די וועלט איז ניט ווערט צו באנוצען זיך מיט גאלד, נאר סאיז באשאפען געווארען צו באנוצען זיך דערמיט פארן משכן און בית המקדש" -
דער רמז - מיין דערפון איז, אז ווען מען גיט זהב פאר ענינים פון תורה ומצות, בריינגט דאס אראפ זהב אין וועלט.
אזוי זאל אויך זיין צו יעדערן וואס גיבען תרומה אויף עניני צדקה, זאל צוקומען אין דער ברכה פון השי"ת אין דעם וואס מ'גיט און אין אלע זיינע ענינים בכלל.

I was pleased to receive greetings from you through Haraha"ch iy"a nu"n one involved with tzt"z Mohe Aharon Moshe Babroisky, who also forwarded your contribution, for which receipt has been given.
According to this week's Torah portion, which begins with the command of Hashem: 'VeZos HaTerumah Asher Tikchu Meitam Zahav...' (And this is the offering you shall take from them: gold...), it is brought in the Midrash (Terumah ch. 35) the saying of Rabbi Shimon ben Lakish: The world was not worthy to use gold; why was it created? For the sake of the Mishkan and for the sake of the Beis HaMikdash. The world is not worthy to use gold; it was only created to be used for the Mishkan and Beis HaMikdash. The hint—my understanding—is that when one gives gold for matters of Torah and mitzvos, this brings down gold into the world. So may it be for everyone who gives a donation for matters of tzedakah: they should receive Hashem's blessing in what they give and in all their affairs in general.

Summary
When we dedicate our resources—especially something as precious as gold—to Torah and mitzvah causes, we draw down G‑d's blessings into our lives and into the world. Supporting tzedakah brings both spiritual and material benefit.
