I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 15th of Menachem Av and those before it, along with their enclosures. May it be G‑d's will that you will finally begin to share good news—and that this good will be in a manner of "ufaratzta yama vakeidma vatzafona vanegba" (you shall spread out westward, eastward, northward, and southward) and up to an inheritance without boundaries.

As I have written many times, you should report not only about the matters of plowing and sowing alone but also about harvesting and gathering fruits—and these should be the very best fruits, especially fruits that themselves produce more fruits.

May it be G‑d's will that since we are now forty days before Rosh Hashanah, the writing and sealing for a good year should begin already—as is the wording of our request: "the good for us."
