I was pleased to receive your letter from Shushan Purim, in which you write about the Purim celebrations. It pleased me to see that you are restraining yourself regarding a certain teacher, because I am certain that specifically in this way the situation will be resolved in the best possible manner. The number of teachers loyal to the Chabad approach is not large, and it is impossible to forgo even one of them.

Surely you also know what I have officially written to the administration of the network regarding external demands and even more so the internal demand to increase network institutions; this also requires an increase in the number of teachers, as is obvious.

Certainly by the time you receive my letter your family has already returned to their strength. May it be G‑d's will that you hear good news in both personal and general matters. May it also be G‑d's will that among all your knowledge there will finally be the awareness that the hearts of all network members are drawing closer to each other, and ultimately they will all form one unified group for establishing and developing the network institutions as needed. The merit of the many helps them.

However (after asking forgiveness for this expression), sometimes they themselves provoke the yetzer hara—as explained in the wording "al chet" (for the sin), "that we have sinned before You with our yetzer hara." That is, there are matters where even the yetzer hara would not dare approach a person with such provocations if not for people themselves provoking it, etc.

Regarding what you wrote about drawing closer to the principal of an independent school—it is understood that ways of drawing close depend on his above-mentioned character traits. Since you have known him for some time, surely you will eventually find a suitable way. In any case—consistent study of Chassidus, especially speaking about "the loftiness of Chassidus," is one of the main approaches here.
