I acknowledge receipt of your letters from the 20th (two letters) and the 30th of Kislev, along with their enclosures. Thank you for the information about the Yud Tes Kislev gathering. Certainly, more detailed reports will arrive from other places you mentioned only briefly—either from them or their representatives—and thank you in advance.

I was pleased to see that finally there has been an awakening to organize Tzeirei Aguch in Kfar Chabad as well. When this is done through an awakening from below (hisorerus d'letata), it has greater permanence, as explained in Chassidus regarding "Isha Mazra'as Techila Yoledes Zachar" (when a woman initiates conception she gives birth to a male). My strong hope is that after starting this organization you will continue to encourage and strengthen them from time to time according to your experience so far.

For the sake of order I am enclosing a copy of my letter to Aguch, which you have surely already heard about.

I read that you provided a tallis and tefillin through vavac"h iy"a etc. David Helman to someone who requested them. Certainly in the future you will also fulfill Mr. Helman's requests in such matters fully.

You will receive one hundred lira from the special fund for mitzvah items—meaning tzitzis, tefillin, and mezuzos.

Regarding your note about the youth group studying in Kiryat Shalom: it is surprising since Rabbi... wrote me [that he would be involved] and would make efforts etc., so it is unclear why both the students' property and all expenses fall solely on you. It is worthwhile to speak with him and clarify the situation thoroughly before deciding accordingly. It is understood that Tzeirei Aguch cannot spend one hundred lira per month on a group of ten children in a place where there are several rabbis, public activists, synagogues etc.

I am interested to know if you are in contact with representatives of Moshav "Chafetz Chaim," since some leaders there visited me some time ago and we parted amicably. Surely they still live there now. What I recall at this moment: Mr. Pfeffer, Kola, Grass, Greizman—all may they live. As above—it is possible not all reside in Chafetz Chaim but some certainly do. You are permitted to say that you convey greetings on my behalf and ask my question as above.

For expenses of the Yud Tes Kislev gathering and fifth candle event you will surely receive three hundred lira from the special fund.

As I have already emphasized several times: ways must be found—even strategies—to utilize meetings and opportunities when people gather together even after Yud Tes Kislev for strengthening Judaism and spreading it further. After all, this is Rosh Hashanah for Toras HaChassidus and its guidance and customs; Rosh Hashanah means drawing down from the head into all limbs—that is, into all days of the year.
