... Regarding what you wrote about the disagreements within the administration... it is clear how much this news pains me, for I have always said that at least among the younger members, there is enough and sufficient work for everyone. As it is said regarding the work of the Mishkan: "Di v'hoter" (enough and more), so they should not have time to engage with the kelipah of Midian. As explained at length in the discourse "Chaltzu" in Likkutei Torah, and in subsequent discourses on "Chaltzu," up to our generation's leader, my father-in-law the Rebbe, in Kuntres Chaltzu 5599 with additions.

And apparently we have not yet merited this, and it continues to dance among us to destroy every good portion. However, since I have not yet received any official information from the administration on this matter, I do not wish to intervene officially, as then I would be compelled to state my evaluation on this matter as it is—without embellishment or softening—and why should I be forced to cause pain to Jews, even their animal soul.

And since you touched on this in your letter—even though your approach, as you write, not to get involved in matters of dispute is very correct—still, without entering into the dispute itself, you should use all means so that hearts will draw closer as soon as possible and find a way out of the mud without forcing me also to enter there.
