Mrs... may she live.

Shalom u'Vrachah!

Your letter has been received, as well as the previous one, and when I will be at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, I will mention all those about whom you write, each one according to their needs.

Regarding what you write about your daughter... may she live, I have already written to you several times that when a daughter is at the stage of shidduchim (matchmaking), the first thing parents—and especially a mother—must do is speak with her about how a Jewish home should be conducted, particularly concerning Taharas HaMishpacha (family purity/mikvah). Only when a Jew conducts themselves according to Torah can they be truly happy. Therefore, there is no reason to be embarrassed or avoid speaking about this matter; nor is it sufficient to speak just once. From your silence on this topic, it seems little or nothing has been done in this regard. Therefore, I do not understand your surprise that things are not going smoothly when what Hashem commands is not being done. I hope that at least now you will begin speaking with your daughter about this.

May Hashem help that your daughter may she live should have a good match and that you should have much Jewish nachas from her and from all your children.

With blessing.
