און אפשר איז דאס מצד דער חלישות, ח"ו, בהתקשרות. - (איך גלויב אבער אז איר האט אויך געהאט מופתים (מיט'ן שותף וכיוצא בזה) נאר איר באמערקט ניט אלע) - דערפאר האב איך פארנוצט א טייל פון אייערע געלד אף דער הפצה פון רבי'ס תורה - איינע פון די בעסטע עצות אוי[ף] התקשרות לנשיא ישראל בעל התורה.
די צווייטע העלפט אריינגעטראגן אין דער לשכת חשאים פון וואנעט דער רבי פלעגט העלפן בחשאי צו אנשים נכבדים און וואס עס ווערט געטאן אויך ווייטער.
דער קונטרס וועט זיין פארטיק אין אייניגע טעג ארום. דער כתר שם טוב בייגעלייגט.

Your letter from Rosh Chodesh Tammuz with the enclosed check on behalf of Merkaz L'Inyanei Chinuch was received. According to your permission to distribute as I see fit, I divided it as follows: maaser for maamad. Half of the remainder—for printing and distributing the kuntres for the upcoming 12th–13th of Tammuz, when it will be seventy years for the Rebbe. It is noted in the kuntres that this should strengthen the hiskashrus (bond) of one who wishes to remain anonymous to the Rebbe—(by printing and spreading his Torah throughout all corners of the world). I did this specifically because I do not know what is happening with hiskashrus (I simply have no complaint for not being told). I see many miracles from the Rebbe now; so if you say that "there is nothing new" by you—there must be some reason for this. It is very possible that the Rebbe holds that now is not the time to sell the building; therefore there are no buyers and similar matters. And perhaps this is due to a weakness, G‑d forbid, in hiskashrus. (However, I believe you too have experienced miracles (with your partner and so on), only you do not notice them all.) Therefore I used part of your funds for spreading the Rebbe's Torah—one of the best pieces of advice for strengthening hiskashrus to the Nasi Yisrael, master of Torah. The second half was brought into the secret fund from which the Rebbe used to discreetly help distinguished individuals and which continues to be used.
The kuntres will be ready in a few days. The Kesser Shem Tov is enclosed. Please notify when you receive it.
