א) מטובו להודיע במכ', בגליון בפ"ע וע"ש המל"ח, איזה סכומים וכמה מהשייכים להמל"ח קה"ת ומחנה נכנסו בסכום הכללי שנתן לרח"ל בהיותו כאן. בודאי טרחה רבה בדבר, אבל איני מוצא דרך אחר לברר כל ענין זה.
ב) בסוף העתק כתבי אדהאמצ"ע ששלח לכ"ק מו"ח אד"ש ישנה שו"ת אחת
וכנראה באים אחרי' עוד שו"ת, ואולי אפשר לברר אודותם ותוכנם ומי מחברם.
ג) אם כבר החליט אודות השתתפותו בהוצאות הדפסת קיצורי שערי אורה אשר לכ"ק מו"ח אד"ש, מטובו להודיעני בהקדם ולהודיע ג"כ הנוסח שרוים שיודפס בס' הנ"ל (ע"פ מרז"ל מצוה לפרסם עושי מצוה).
גיסו אמר לי קודם נסעו מכאן שישתתף כבו'.
ד) באתי להזכירו ע"ד הבטחתו להשתדל תיכף לבואו ע"ד סילוק השייך לאתה הראת מאנ"ש דת"א. ות"ח למפרע על טרחתו בכ"ז.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I heard some time ago about your successful arrival as well as your brother-in-law's timely arrival. Now I am writing regarding the following:
a) Please inform me in writing, in a separate report and referencing the Melach, which sums and how much from those belonging to Melach, Kehot, and Machaneh were included in the total amount given to Rachol when he was here. Certainly this is a lot of work, but I see no other way to clarify all these matters.
b) At the end of the copy of the writings of Admor HaEmtza'i that you sent to my father-in-law the Rebbe, there is one responsum and apparently more follow it. Perhaps it is possible to clarify about them—their content and who authored them.
c) If you have already decided about your participation in the expenses for printing the summary of Shaarei Orah for my father-in-law the Rebbe, please notify me promptly and also inform me of the wording of those who will be mentioned as participants in that book (as our Sages said: it is a mitzvah to publicize those who perform mitzvos). Your brother-in-law told me before his departure from here that you would participate as well.
d) I have come to remind you about your promise to immediately upon your arrival work on settling what pertains to "Atoh Horeisa" from Anash of T.A. Many thanks in advance for your efforts in all this.
