Shalom u'Vrachah!

In response to your letters from the 6th and 8th of Menachem Av which were received with thanks.

A. Regarding a maamar for your son's bar mitzvah, in my opinion it is appropriate that he choose from among the maamarim he already has.

B. The copy of Torah Or with one machzor is for him as I promised you; the second is for sale.

C. Regarding Sefer HaSichos: please provide two copies to the Kibbuts Lubavitch, two to be sent to Paking, one to Kalmanson in Prague, one to give to Rabbi Tzvi Shem Tov, one to the avrech Shalom Dovber Schneersohn, one for yourself, and the rest for sale.

D. For Siddur Tehillat Hashem: eight for Beit Rivkah in Paris; four for Beit Sarah in Prague via Kalmanson; four for Kibbuts Lubavitch; five for Arani via R.M. Lipsker; two for the two girls—one being educated by Maharash Sasanka and the granddaughter of Horkov—who asked me to convey their question to the Rebbe Rayatz shlita; and the rest for sale.

E. For R.M. Lipsker (for Arani and Buassi): three copies each of our book vol. I, our book vol. II, Unser Buch vol. I, Unser Buch vol. II. For the Beit Rivkah committee in Paris: eight of each. For Prague: three of each. The rest are for sale. The prices for all these can be found on the cover of Sefer HaSichos.

For all those you give (except those sold), you must affix the stamp "A gift from Merkaz etc." which is with R.Y. Lipsker.

F. The parshah sheet for Rashbatz that I mentioned in my previous letter you surely delivered; thank you.

G. Are those involved in organizing the event acting with alacrity?

H. Regarding your work at Beit Rivkah: please inform me what your role was on the Vaad Tomchei Temimim in Paris because it is necessary to arrange things so that your work at Melach or Machaneh will not conflict with this responsibility.

And peace is great—for all Torah was given to bring peace into the world (Sifri cited by Rambam at end of Hilchot Chanukah; see also Likutei Torah LeGimmel Parshiyot end Parshat Noach).
