Prioritizing Youth Work, Continuing for a Third Year, and Personal Growth

... במענה לשאלותיו: א) מובן שדין קדימה לעבודה עם הנוער ובתוכו, מאשר עם המבוגרים. ובפרט שבזה כבר עוסק, גם ראה פירות כו'. ב) מובן עפהנ"ל - שכדאי נכון וטוב שימשיך בעבודתו גם שנה שלישית. תקותי שמוסיף גם בלימודיו לעצמו נגלה וחסידות. וזכות הרבים (שבודאי גם הם יהנו מהוספה זו) מסיעתו.

לכתבו ע"ד האברך.. שי' - באם הי' ממשיכו (בצורה מתאמת) בהעבודה הנ"ל - בטח הי' זה מעודדו מחזקו ומיישרו. וקרוב לומר - גם מוסיף בשמחת-החיים שלו. והרי העצבות, ר"ל, היא שרש כו'. והתחלת יומו של כאו"א מבנ"י - צ"ל בהודאה על שהחזרת בי נשמתי כו'.

... In response to your questions: a) It is understood that priority should be given to work with youth—and within them—over adults. Especially since you are already involved in this and have seen fruits from it, etc.

b) Based on the above—it is clear, proper, and good that you continue your work for a third year as well. I hope you are also increasing your own studies in Nigleh and Chassidus. The merit of the many (who will surely also benefit from this increase) will assist you.

You wrote about the Avrech... if he would have continued (in an appropriate manner) in the above-mentioned work—certainly this would have encouraged him, strengthened him, and set him straight. And it is likely it would have also increased his joy in life. After all, sadness—G‑d forbid—is the root of etc.

The beginning of every Jew's day must be with gratitude for "You have returned my soul to me," etc.
