ובקרוב ממש בעגלא דידן נזכה לביאת מבשר טוב פנחס זה אלי', ויהפכו ימים אלו לששון ולשמחה ולמועדים טובים.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from Motzaei Shabbos Kodesh. As we stand on Erev Shabbos Mevarchim Menachem Av, may it be G‑d's will that our Father in Heaven, the Merciful Father and Father of Mercies, comfort His people Israel as our sages have taught: a consolation in double measure—double for their troubles—and it is known that this doubling is beyond all proportion, not merely twice as much.
And very soon, speedily in our days, may we merit the coming of the bearer of good news—Pinchas is Eliyahu—and may these days be transformed into gladness and joy and good festivals.

The Rebbe teaches that during Shabbos Mevarchim Menachem Av we receive a boundless comfort from Above and should anticipate imminent redemption when sorrow will turn to joy.
