עס האט מיר געפרייט צו באקומען די מיטטיילונג וועגן דער יערלעכער אונטערנעמונג דעם דינסטאג י"ד שבט הבע"ל.
איך האף אז די פירערשאפט און מיטגלידערינס תי' ווי אויך אלע אנטיילנעמער שי' וועלן מאכן יעדע אנשטרענגונג צו פארזיכערן דען פינאנציעלן און גייסטיגען דערפאלג פון דער אונטערנעמונג.
זיכער געפינען מיר זיך אלע אונטר דעם איינדרוק פון דעם יארצייט-הילולא פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, דער גרינדער און אנפירער פון די ליובאוויטשער ישיבות פאר וועלכע ער האט זיך מוסר נפש געווען בפועל ממש. און דאס איז דאך דער אינהאלט פון געדיינקען און אפהיטן דעם יארצייט, אז יעדער איינער און איינע וועלכע האבן דעם גרויסן זכות צו זיין פארבונדן מיטן רבי'ן און זיין הייליקע ארבעט, זאל זיך דערמוטיקן פארצוזעצן און אויסברייטערן אלע געביטן פון דער ארבעט פון דעם בעל-ההילולא, מיט בענייטע כוחות, אנטשלאסנקייט און מסירות נפש,
די סדרה וועלכע מיר האבן געלייענט היינטיקן שבת, שבת שירה, אונטערשטרייכט באזונדער די וויכטיקייט פון אידישע פרויען, ווי דאס איז געקומען צום אויסדרוק בא קריעת ים-סוף דורך מרים הנביאה און אלע פרויען, פארזעצנדיק, מיט אויסערגעוויינליכער שמחה און התלהבות, דאס וואס משה רבינו האט אנגעהויבן. און דעריבער איז אויך די הפטורה פון דעם שבת די שירה פון דבורה הנביאה (און ניט די שירה פון דוד המלך, וועלכע ווערט געלייענט שביעי של פסח, ווען די זעלבע פרשה אין דער תורה ווערט געלייענט, ווי עס ווערט דערקלערט באריכות אין א שיחה פון בעל ההילולא). די שירה פון מרים הנביאה און פון דבורה הנביאה זיינען ניט נאר א לויב-געזאנג פון אידישע פרויען צום אויבערשטן, נאר אויך פון אויבערשטן צו אידישע פרויען.
אזוי ווי רייד און ברכות פון צדיקים בלייבן און ווירקן אייביק, זאלן די ברכות פון דעם בעל ההילולא ביישטיין יעדן איינים און איינער פון אייך מיט אייערע בני בית שיחיו - צו הצלחה אין אלע אייערע אנגעלעגנהייטן בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

I was pleased to receive the notice about the upcoming annual event this Tuesday, the 14th of Shevat, may it be for good. I hope that the leadership and members, as well as all participants, will make every effort to ensure both the financial and spiritual success of this undertaking.
We are surely all still under the impression of the yahrzeit-hilulah of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, founder and leader of the Lubavitcher Yeshivos for which he literally gave his life. This is indeed the essence of commemorating and observing a yahrzeit: that everyone who has the great merit to be connected with the Rebbe and his holy work should be encouraged to continue and expand all areas of his work with renewed strength, determination, and self-sacrifice.
The Torah portion we read this Shabbat—Shabbat Shirah—especially underscores the importance of Jewish women, as expressed at Kriyas Yam Suf (the splitting of the sea) through Miriam HaNeviah (Miriam the Prophetess) and all women continuing with extraordinary joy and enthusiasm what Moshe Rabbeinu began. Therefore, too, this Shabbat's haftarah is the song of Devorah HaNeviah (Devorah the Prophetess), not that of David HaMelech (King David), which is read on Shevi'i Shel Pesach when this same Torah portion is read—as explained at length in a sicha from the Baal HaHilulah.
The song of Miriam HaNeviah and Devorah HaNeviah is not only a song of praise from Jewish women to G‑d but also from G‑d to Jewish women. Just as words and blessings from tzaddikim remain forever effective, so may the blessings from the Baal HaHilulah stand for each one of you with your families—for success in all your affairs both materially and spiritually together.
