I was pleased to receive your letter informing me of several years filled with your holy activities, at the auspicious time on Shabbos Kodesh—when all days are blessed from it—especially since, as you wrote, you are involved in matters of Yiras Shamayim, our Torah and its mitzvos.

May it be His will that you ascend in holiness in all these matters, both in quantity and quality. This is fitting with the words of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (regarding the generation of Ikvesa d'Meshicha) in the maamar for his yahrzeit, chapter 11: that Above they open up the treasures—the precious fortune gathered over generations—and entrust it through officers to the soldiers; may you utilize this in your activities within the general matter of Torah and its mitzvos.
