ובעת רצון יזכירוהו ואת כל אלה שכותב אודותם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע מתאים לתוכן כתבו.
ולפלא גדול שבכל מכתביו אינו מזכיר דבר מפעולותיו בקדש, ז.א. במילוי התפקיד להפיץ התורה ומצותי' בכל מקום שידו מגעת, והרי סו"ס ברור הדבר, שעניני תורה ומצות הם הן הצנור והכלים לברכת השי"ת והמשכתם, והשתדלות בדרך הטבע אין זה אלא עשיית כלים בדרך הטבע למה שכבר נפסק ונמשך מלמעלה, ולא עוד, אלא שעשיית כלים אלו מוכרחת מפני סדרי העוה"ז ולא בעצם הדבר, וכמבואר כ"ז בכ"מ ומהם בקונטרס ומעין ע"פ הכתוב וברכך ה"א בכל אשר תעשה. ומזה בכש"כ וק"ו, ומה בהשתדלות עשיית ענין שאינו אלא כלי מתייגעים ומשתדלים ביותר מבלי הבט על כל מונע ומעכב, עאכו"כ איך שצריכה להיות השתדלות בהנוגע להעיקר, ובגודל פשיטות הדבר בודאי שלדכוותי' אין צורך בביאור נוסף.
וינעם לי להתבשר טוב בהנ"ל בהקדמה אשר היכולת ניתנה לכאו"א מבני ישראל לעשות בהנ"ל, כיון שכל אחד נצטוה בזה, ובודאי נאמנים דברי הבעש"ט ונשיאי חב"ד בביאורם בזה, שזהו מ"ש מה' מצעדי גבר כוננו ודרכו יחפץ.
בברכה לבשו"ט ולחג פסח כשר ושמח.

I acknowledge receipt of the pidyon nefesh with its attachment. At an auspicious time, he and all those you write about will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, according to the content of your letter.
It is very surprising that in all your letters you do not mention anything about your activities in holiness—that is, fulfilling your role to spread Torah and its mitzvos wherever your influence reaches. After all, it is clear that matters of Torah and mitzvos are themselves the channel and vessels for G‑d's blessing and its drawing down. Effort in natural ways is only making vessels in a natural manner for what has already been decreed and drawn down from Above. Moreover, making these vessels is necessary only because of the order of this world—not because of the essence of the matter itself—as explained elsewhere, including in Kuntres U'Maayan on the verse 'And Hashem will bless you in all that you do.'
From this it follows all the more so: if for efforts to make something that is only a vessel people toil greatly despite obstacles, how much more so should one strive regarding what is essential. Given how obvious this matter is, I am sure no further explanation is needed for you.
I would be pleased to hear good news about this soon. Let us remember that everyone among Israel has been given the ability to act in these matters since each person has been commanded regarding them. Certainly, the words of the Baal Shem Tov and Chabad leaders are trustworthy when they explain this verse: 'From Hashem are a man's steps established; He desires his way.'
