Shalom u'Vrachah!
With astonishment I read in your letter the lengthy discussion about matters pertaining to a doctor, and all such investigations. Instead of all these inquiries, this time should be devoted to Torah study with awe of Heaven—both the revealed and chassidic aspects—and to conduct oneself according to what is written: "You shall be wholehearted with the L‑rd your G‑d."
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that one should not become preoccupied with medical speculation but rather invest energy into Torah study and wholehearted trust in G‑d.
