שלום וברכה!
בנועם קבלתי הידיעה, אשר החברה עורכת סעודת מלוה מלכה במוצש"ק פרשת אם כסף תלוה את עמי, אדר"ח אדר, לחזק איש את רעהו בעבודתם הקדושה גמילות חסדים, שהיא היא מדתו של בורא עולם ומנהיגו, וכציווי חז"ל, להלך אחר מדותיו של הקב"ה, והוסיפו - תורה תחלתה גמ"ח כו' דכתיב ויעש ה' אלקים לאדם ולאשתו כתנות עור וילבישם (סוטה יד, א, עיי"ש).
ולא עוד אלא שהסבירו גדולי המפרשים, שכתוב האמור - מורה "על אהבתו (של הקב"ה) וחמלתו על יצוריו, שאע"פ שחטאו, לא זז מחבבן, והוא בעצמו השתדל בתיקונם ובגמ"ח". והדגישו בזה, אשר כוונה האמורה הוא ע"ד הפשט בהכתוב (בחיי בראשית ג, כא) .
אשר גם על פי זה מובן, מה זה ומה ראו על ככה רבותינו נשיאינו, מתחיל מרבנו הבעש"ט ז"ל (אשר השנה היא שנת המאתים להסתלקות הילולא שלו) תלמידיו רבנו הזקן כו' ועד לנשיא דורנו, כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, שהפליאו בגודל ענין אהבת ישראל, ולכל אחד ואחת, ועד לאלו הנקראים בשם בריות בעלמא (יעוין תניא פרק לב).
ויהי רצון אשר כל אחד ואחד, בתוככי כלל ישראל, יעשה כל המצווה עליו - בקו הגמ"ח וכן בקו התורה והעבודה, ואתכפיא סט"א (נחש הקדמוני) ואתהפכא.
אשר גם בזה הולך בדרכיו של הקב"ה, כמבואר בתרגום יונתן בן עוזיאל על הכתוב האמור, אשר "עבד ה' אלקים... לבושין דיקר מן משך חיויא דאשלח מניה" (יעוין רשימות אדמו"ר הצ"צ - בס' דרך אמונה - על הכתוב הנ"ל).
ועי"ז יקוים הציווי אשר בראש ותחלת פרשת השבוע לו נכנסים:
ועשו לי מקדש ושכנתי בתוכם - וכמבואר בארוכה בהמשך באתי לגני של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, ההמשך דיום ההילולא שלו.

With pleasure I received the news that your society is organizing a Melaveh Malka meal on Motzaei Shabbos Parshas Im Kesef Talveh Es Ami, Erev Rosh Chodesh Adar, to strengthen one another in your holy work of gemilus chasadim. This is truly the attribute of the Creator and Ruler of the world, as our Sages instruct us to follow in the ways of the Holy One Blessed be He. They added: "Torah begins with gemilus chasadim," as it is written: "And Hashem Elokim made for Adam and his wife garments of skin and clothed them" (Sotah 14a; see there).
Furthermore, great commentators explained that this verse teaches "about His (the Holy One's) love and compassion for His creatures; even though they sinned, He did not cease to cherish them and personally saw to their rectification through acts of kindness." They emphasized that this intention is according to the simple meaning of the verse (see Bachayei on Bereishis 3:21).
This also explains why our Rebbeim—beginning with our master the Baal Shem Tov of blessed memory (this year marks two hundred years since his passing), his students including our master the Alter Rebbe, and up to our Nasi in this generation, my father-in-law the Rebbe—so greatly extolled Ahavas Yisrael for every individual, even those called merely "creatures" (see Tanya chapter 32).
May it be G‑d's will that each person among all Israel fulfills all that is incumbent upon him—in gemilus chasadim as well as Torah and avodah—and subdues and transforms evil (the primordial serpent). In doing so he follows in G‑d's ways, as explained by Targum Yonasan ben Uziel on this verse: "Hashem Elokim made... garments of honor from the skin of the serpent which He removed from him" (see Reshimos Admor HaTzt"z in Sefer Derech Emunah on this verse).
Through this will be fulfilled the commandment at the beginning of this week's parsha into which we are entering: "They shall make Me a sanctuary and I will dwell among them"—as explained at length in Basi L'Gani by my father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal on his yahrzeit.

Summary
The Rebbe highlights gemilus chasadim as a core Divine trait and urges strengthening mutual support through acts of kindness. By emulating G‑d’s compassion and building unity among Jews, we create a dwelling place for G‑dliness in our world.
