Merit is brought about on a meritorious day—the yahrzeit of Rashbi, which is a day of great joy, as explained in many places. His purpose was to bring from the hidden aspects of Torah to its revealed parts; the result is to bring from the hidden strengths of Israel to their revealed strengths and thereby vitality to revealed vitality—the vitality of each organ. As our Torah of life commands us: maintaining a healthy and whole body is one of the ways of serving Hashem.
