I am responding to your letter in which you write about the occupation of your children sheyichyu and the difficulties with shidduchim. Certainly, the difficulty is not connected to their occupation, especially since agriculture in Kfar Chabad—which was established and is also managed by my father-in-law, the Rebbe—is a channel and vessel for an added blessing from Hashem Yisbarach. It is possible that when matters are presented to them, they focus on unimportant things. As is known, there is no consensus in the world at large; therefore one must focus on what is essential and important according to Torah. Then Hashem Yisbarach helps so that even secondary matters are arranged as well. May Hashem Yisbarach help your children with expanded livelihood according to Torah and in agriculture as mentioned above, which is indeed a merit for good matches at an auspicious and successful time.
Surely you maintain the good custom of upright Jewish women to give charity every time before lighting candles on Erev Shabbat and Erev Yom Tov; if not, you should do so from now on and onward.
