מאשר הנני קבלת מכתביו,
וכיון שנמצאים אנו, בימי סגולה, בימים שלפני חג הגאולה י"ב וי"ג תמוז, גאולת רבנו נשיאנו ראש ישראל וגופא בתר רישא אזיל, יהי רצון אשר כאו"א מאתנו בתכ"י יגאל מכל הענינים המבלבלים הן בגשם והן ברוח, ומתוך הרחבת הדעת יגבירו חיילים בכל אותם הענינים עליהם מסר נפשו בעל השמחה, ויוכל לעבוד השי"ת בשמחה ובטוב לבב, ולכל לראש בהעמדת תלמידים יראי ה' ולומדים תורתו תמימה (הנגלה והפנימית) ומקיימי מצות ה' בהידור.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I acknowledge receipt of your letters. Since we are now in auspicious days—the days before the Festival of Redemption, the 12th and 13th of Tammuz, the redemption of our Rebbe, our leader and head of Israel—and since the body follows the head, may it be G‑d's will that each one of us be redeemed from all confusing matters, both material and spiritual. With expanded awareness, may we increase our efforts in all those areas for which the Baal HaSimchah gave his life. May you be able to serve Hashem with joy and a good heart—especially by establishing students who are G‑d-fearing and study His complete Torah (both revealed and inner aspects) and fulfill His mitzvos beautifully.
