במענה למכתבו מיום ב', בו כותב אודות מצבו, ושכאילו אינו יכול להתגבר עליו, והתוצאות מזה, איך שיצא למשך זמן מכותלי הישיבה ואח"כ חזר לשם, ונמצא במצב יאוש וכו'.
ומובן ששתי תמיהות בדבר: א) מהו הפלא על המצב, לאחרי שהודיעונו חז"ל, עבר כ' שנה וכו'. ב) כיון שהובטחנו לפום גמלא שיחנא ושבלתי ידח ממנו נדח, הרי בודאי שאפשר להתגבר על כל מצב שאינו מתאים לציווי תורתנו תורת חיים.
מהנ"ל מובנת ג"כ המסקנא, שעליו להתעסק במרץ המתאים בעניני שידוך ובהקדם צ לבנין בית בישראל על יסודי התורה והמצוה, וכשרוצים בזה באמת, במילא מתפללים להשי"ת מעומק הלב על הצלחת ההשתדלות בזה, ועושים ככל הדרוש בזה, הן בדרך הטבע ובעיקר ע"י ובהנוגע להוספה בעניני תורה ומצות שעי"ז מתגדלת הסייעתא דשמיא שהוא עיקר בזה וכמ"ש ומה' אשה משכלת, ואז רואים הצלחת השי"ת גם בעיני בשר.
מהנכון אשר יבדקו את התפילין שלו וכן את המזוזות בחדרו, ואשר בכל יום חול קודם תפלת הבקר יפריש איזה פרוטות לצדקה, ויקבע עתים בלימוד תורת החסידות שהיא גילוי פנימיות התורה בתקופתנו זו, ודוקא באופן דהבנה והשגה, שזהו ג"כ מתקוני ענין חטא הידוע הקשור במוחין, וק"ל.

In response to your letter from Monday, in which you write about your situation and how it seems you cannot overcome it, and the results of this—that you left the yeshivah walls for a time and then returned there—and that you find yourself in a state of despair, etc.
It is clear that there are two questions here: a) Why be surprised at this situation after our Sages have already told us: "Twenty years have passed," etc.? b) Since we have been assured "according to the camel is its load" and that "no one will be cast away from Him," it is certain that one can overcome any situation not fitting with the command of our Torah of Life.
From the above it is also understood that you should energetically pursue matters of shidduchim (matchmaking) as appropriate and as soon as possible for building a Jewish home on the foundations of Torah and mitzvah. When one truly desires this, one prays to Hashem from the depths of the heart for success in these efforts and does all that is necessary—both through natural means and especially by increasing Torah study and mitzvos. Through this, Divine assistance is increased—which is most important here—as it says: "From Hashem comes a wise wife," and then one sees Hashem's success even with one's physical eyes.
It is proper to have your tefillin checked as well as the mezuzos in your room. Every weekday before morning prayers, set aside some coins for charity. Establish regular times for learning Chassidus—the revelation of the inner dimension of Torah in our era—specifically with understanding and comprehension. This too corrects the known sin associated with intellect. That should suffice.
