I acknowledge receipt of your letter with its enclosures. The repeated instructions and guidance regarding kashrus and religious matters on ships have been received, as well as additional supplements to the above sent via your office. Many thanks for your attention in sending me all of this.

Although I do not mention it explicitly, I hope that my letter was received in due time with a copy of the instruction concerning the machines or parts of the machines that must be operated by hand several times daily throughout the twenty-four hours.

Accordingly, you have surely acted regarding issuing a clear ruling on this matter, in line with what was discussed here.

With honor and blessing that Hashem will ultimately grant you success so that there will be elevation—both material and spiritual together—and especially since regarding the Jewish people these are interdependent, for they are one nation in the land; meaning even in matters of land they do not separate from true unity, Heaven forbid. (See Iggeres HaKodesh by our master the Alter Rebbe, section 9.)

And Eretz Yisrael will be higher than all other lands—even openly before the eyes of all—in every sense, as the prophecy will be fulfilled: "And many nations will go and say: Come, let us go up... for from Zion shall go forth Torah and the word of Hashem from Jerusalem."
