I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the eve of Wednesday, a report from the Chabad school in the Lod neighborhood. It is surprising that there are so few students enrolled. Even though you write reasons for this, it has been clearly seen everywhere—including in Eretz HaKodesh—that when one makes an appropriate effort as our Sages instruct—'Yagata u'Matzata' (You toiled and you found)—the promise is fulfilled. My intention is not to complain about the past but to encourage action for the future. Even though it is already mid-year, there are surely some new residents in the neighborhood who have not yet registered and are not yet connected with any particular school. There may be other ways to address this as well. Certainly you will consult with Chabad education activists, for 'salvation comes with much counsel.'

I hope that in addition to your heavenly work on behalf of others, you also fulfill 'do not ignore your own flesh,' meaning an increase in Torah and mitzvah observance in general—and especially in studying both Nigleh (revealed Torah) and Chassidus.

May Hashem grant you success to share good news regarding all of the above.
