In response to your letter from 7/14, in which you write about your health situation regarding your legs and the doctors' opinion about surgery. Below is noted the opinion of a specialist doctor here*.

Since every matter requires the blessing of the Almighty, and especially when additional blessing is needed; it is understood that one should increase in matters of Torah and mitzvos, and the greater the increase, the more blessings from the Almighty will also be added in this regard. May it be His will that you share good news about all of the above.

P.S. In my secretariat we do not write in French, therefore this response comes in Lashon HaKodesh (Hebrew), but you may continue to write in French in the future since I read this language.

* In such cases, surgery requires great precision and extra caution as well as special responsibility in its execution and manner. Therefore, efforts are made to heal through other means: a special belt and bandage, heating by electric means, etc., and more. If you wish, you can ask your treating physician to write here privately (to Dr. Zeligson) his reasons for insisting on surgery specifically, and it will be discussed here again accordingly.
