Your pan has been received. As we approach the new year, which is coming upon us and all Israel for good and blessing, I hereby express my blessing to you: may you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year both materially and spiritually.
Surely you remember the teaching of our Sages that everyone serving in the army has a special command: "And your camp shall be holy," especially since you are in the land about which it is said: "The eyes of the L‑rd your G‑d are upon it from the beginning of the year until year's end," and you also influence your friends in all this. May it be G‑d's will that you succeed.
