In response to your letter from August 2nd, and surely you have already received my answer to your previous letter, and partially there is also an answer there to the question you touch upon in this letter of yours.

Regarding how to print this: in my opinion, the main thing is that it should be printed and not remain in manuscript form. Therefore—if there is hope that the entire book can be printed in a new edition with all the changes and marginal notes, that is certainly good. But if due to the expenses involved or other reasons this is not possible or will take an indefinite time, it is worthwhile to consider not reprinting the whole book but only the newly added material, and refer—in the appropriate place—to such-and-such page of the previous edition of Sefer HaRikmah. This will require much less expense and is much easier to accomplish.

After all, Sefer HaRikmah is not a book for everyone but only for specialists; therefore there is only a small concern that because of the minor inconvenience of needing to look into a separate book this will deter its use...
