במענה על מכתבו מכ"ז תמוז. - מתאים למכתבו, נמסר להמזכירות לשלוח הניירות בשביל התלמידים. ובטח יבואו עמו בקישור, כיון שמכמה טעמים מהנכון שידעו שעל ידו נעשים ענינים אלו, ובפרט - שיקבלו עליהם בהנחה וקליטה יותר ענין תועלת הרבים מנסיעתם, וכפי המדובר.
בודאי יכתוב בפרטיות בהנוגע לשהותם של השלוחים שליט"א ומהשפעת ביקורם על שאר התלמידים, ומודאג במקצת מה שאין מזכיר במכתבו זה, כיון שבלתי אופיציעל - אחת הכוונות היא, שביקורם יוסיף בחיות תלמידי המוסדות במקומות השונים. וכמבואר בכ"מ פעולה דדבר חדש, עד שנצטוינו במיוחד שבכיו"י יהיו בעיניך כחדשים. וכנראה משתיקתו שלא ניצלו ביקורם לענין זה, שהרי אז בודאי הי' מזכיר במיוחד. ואולי ימלא בהזדמנות הבאה. וכן גם בהנוגע להאברך שי' שבחרו בו להצטרף להשלוחים - מאנ"ש דצרפת, מהותו בנגלה בחסידות ובעבודה, והשי"ת יצליחו לבש"ט בכל האמור.

In response to your letter from the 27th of Tammuz: In accordance with your letter, it was given over to the secretariat to send the papers for the students. Surely they will stay in contact with you, since for several reasons it is appropriate that they know these matters are being accomplished through you. Especially so that they will more readily accept and absorb the idea of benefiting the public from their journey, as discussed.
Certainly you will write in detail regarding the stay of the shluchim, may they live and be well, and about the influence of their visit on the other students. I am somewhat concerned that you did not mention this in your letter, since one of the intentions—though unofficial—is that their visit should increase vitality among students in various institutions. As explained elsewhere, an action involving something new should always be regarded as new by you. Your silence suggests that their visit was not utilized for this purpose; otherwise you surely would have mentioned it specifically. Perhaps this can be fulfilled on another occasion.
The same applies regarding the Avrech who was chosen to join the shluchim—from Anash in France—his essence is revealed in Nigleh, Chassidus, and avodah. May Hashem grant him success in all that was mentioned above.
