... Regarding the reprinting of Sefer HaRikmah, I consider it important to publish the attached marginal notes. As I recall your late husband's precious stringency with himself—especially regarding matters he considered for publication—it must be that these are notes of general value. From this perspective, it might be important to publish the marginal notes first and not together with a reprint of the entire Sefer HaRikmah (which is available, even if in a small number of copies). Even if the marginal notes still need editing, as is customary in such cases, a remark can be added that this is a collection of marginal notes and therefore it is possible that some parts are unedited. I believe it is better to publish them in this form rather than suppressing the comments entirely—if there are no means [to edit fully]. Knowing your husband's handwriting, I estimate that copying will be easy and require few corrections; thus printing these notes should not demand too much expense. I would be interested to know approximately how many pages this might contain.
