במענה על מכתבו (בלי הוראת זמן הכתיבה) בו שואל אודות הוראות בדרכי החסידות.
הנה מובן שתלויות הן בתכונות נפש השואל, כשרונותיו, ואופן הסתדרותו, ולכן טוב ונכון שיתקשר עם צעירי אגודת חב"ד אשר בסביבתו ועל ידם יוודע מזקני אנ"ש הנמצאים שם וכהוראתם יעשה, ומובן שזהו נוסף על הנקודות הכלליות (והם נוסף על שלשת השיעורים השוים לכל נפש מתקנת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע בחומש תהלים ותניא הידועים), לימוד בתורת החסידות לעיונא עכ"פ איזה פעמים בשבוע והליכה בהדרכותי' ומנהגי', וכמו שקבלת התורה בכללותה היתה ע"י הקדמת נעשה לנשמע, כן הוא גם בהנוגע לכל חלק וחלק מתוה"ק היינו לא להתחיל מקושיות וכו' אלא לקבל מראש הוראות אלו המנוסים כבר לכגון דא ואז במשך זמן לא ארוך תבוא גם ההבנה, והשי"ת יצליחו לבשר טוב בכל האמור.

In response to your letter (without indication of the time it was written) in which you ask about guidance in the ways of Chassidus. It is understood that these depend on the character traits of the questioner, his abilities, and his circumstances. Therefore, it is good and proper for you to connect with Tzeirei Agudas Chabad in your area; through them you will become acquainted with the elders of Anash who are there, and you should act according to their guidance.
It is understood that this is in addition to the general points (which themselves are in addition to the three daily study sessions established by my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal—Chumash, Tehillim, and Tanya), namely: studying Chassidus in depth at least several times a week and following its directives and customs.
Just as the acceptance of the Torah as a whole was preceded by 'Naaseh' before 'Nishma' ("We will do" before "We will hear"), so too regarding every part of Torah—it is not proper to begin with questions etc., but rather to first accept these tried-and-true instructions for such matters; then, after not too long a time, understanding will also come. May Hashem grant you success to share good news regarding all the above.
