בנועם קבלתי מכתבו מד' ניסן והקודם לו, ות"ל אשר חגג שמחת נשואי בנו שליט"א באופן המתאים, וכיון שהחתונה היא הנחת היסוד והתחלת בנין בישראל של הזוג הצעיר שנקבעה ברכה בלשון הברכה מתקנת אנשי כנסת הגדולה, בנין עדי עד ויהי' זה מתוך שמחה וכסיום הברכות וחתימתן, והוא וזוגתו שיחיו ירוו מהם ומכל יו"ח שי' רוב נחת אמיתי, הוא נחת יהודי חסידותי.
...נעם לי לקרות במכתבו אשר מרחיב ההיכרות שלו עם יוצאי גזע אנ"ש ובזמן האחרון עם מר ... שי' ואשר יש לו גם אח באה"ק ת"ו ושמו ... שי', ומטובו לפרוש שלומם גם בשמי, ולעוררם אשר בודאי ככל התורה שאמת היא ג"כ הוא מרז"ל, זרוק חוטרא אאוירא אעיקרי' קאי, אשר יתעורר בהם הגזע צור חוצבו ממנו הוא גזע חב"ד, ובפרט בזמננו זה אשר כאמור היתה בו ענין הזריקה למעלה מן הרגיל ביותר וביותר, ואין הדבר תלוי אלא בהנזרק שיסייע גם הוא מצדו להתקשרות עם עיקרו, ולא המדרש עיקר אלא המעשה.
בברכה לבשר טוב בכל האמור לעיל ולחג פסח כשר ושמח לו ולכל המשפחה.

I was pleased to receive your letter from the 4th of Nissan and the one before it. Thank G‑d that you celebrated your son's wedding in a fitting manner. Since a wedding is the laying of the foundation and beginning of building in Israel for the young couple, a blessing has been established in the wording set by the Men of the Great Assembly: "an everlasting edifice," and may this be with joy as concluded and sealed in the blessings. May he and his wife enjoy much true nachas from all their descendants—Jewish-Chassidic nachas.
I was pleased to read in your letter that you are expanding your acquaintance with those from Anash lineage, and recently with Mr. ... shiyichyeh, who also has a brother in Eretz HaKodesh whose name is ... shiyichyeh. Please convey my regards to them as well and encourage them that just as all Torah is true, so too is what our Sages said: "Zrok chutra l'avira i'ikara ka'i" (Throw a stick into the air—it lands near its root), that their Chabad roots should be awakened within them. Especially in our times when this 'throwing' has been more pronounced than ever before; it depends only on the one thrown to also help from his side to connect with his source—for study is not primary but action.
With blessings for good news regarding all of the above and for a kosher and joyous Pesach for him and all his family.
