In response to your letter from the end of Shevat, and afterwards I also received two copies of your book about the Baal Shem Tov in Yiddish—thank you for this.

Regarding your comment about the necessity to print the responsa of the Rashba, etc., you are correct about the importance of publishing the words of earlier authorities, especially those who serve as halachic decisors in Israel. However, there are matters that simply cannot be done by others; such is the case with publishing Chabad Sefarim. Even in this area, the resources are not at all sufficient for what is needed. Therefore, I am unable at present to involve myself in printing books like those you mentioned above.

I hope—even though you did not mention it—that you participate from time to time in Anash gatherings. May it be G‑d's will that the words of inspiration continue throughout the entire year and thus also extend the joy that is drawn down during these gatherings.
