Your letter from the month of Teves was received some time ago, in which you enclosed a pan written at the beginning of Shevat. It seems that what you wrote about Teves was a slip of the pen. In any case, it is surprising that from then until now there has been no news from you, even though I am certain that you made use of the days of the hilulah as well as Purim and the days in between in an appropriate manner according to the demands of the time. Surely you will write soon with the necessary details.

It is certainly unnecessary to remind you about distributing a kezayis of Shemurah matzah in my name to your neighbors, and surely you will receive the expenses for this from the special fund via Haraha"ch HaRaZ Slonim. The same applies to expenses for purchasing the Shabbos clock (see above letter 4005 regarding Shabbos clock). Of course, you may show or copy these lines concerning the Shemurah matzah (and I mean those baked by hand), and it would be worthwhile to use this opportunity to explain that matzah is "michla d'asvasa" (the food of healing) and "michla d'meheimnusa" (the food of faith), for healing and faith are interconnected within a Jewish person...
