במענה על מכתבו מי"ב תשרי, בו כותב אודות פתיחת מוסד לבנות, ובדוגמת הבית ספר למלאכה, ללמדם תפירה וכיו"ב. וכדאי הי' לברר אפשריות הצעה זו, כי באופן עיקרוני - נכונה היא ביותר, אלא שתלוי בתנאים השוררים עתה, היינו אם ישנן נערות המעונינות בכגון דא, אם יש אפשריות למצוא מורות מתאימות לזה כו' וכו', וכשיברר הפרטים בזה בטח יודיע. וכל המפרט הרי זה משובח.
