... וכבר ידוע חוות דעתי שכתבתי לכמה מאנ"ש אשר להכפר והתיישבות בו הוא צנור וכלי לאנ"ש לקבלת ברכות השי"ת והצלחתו בהמצטרך להם בגשמיות וברוחניות, ובמילא יש להשתדל להיות מהתושבים שם ככל האפשרי... ומהנ"ל מובן שטוב להתעסק בחקלאות, ואם טעמים הנ"ל אמיתים הם שאי אפשר הדבר, אולי יש מקום בתור מקצועי ובלבד להיות מתושבי הכפר ומהחיים בתוככי הדבקים בתורת דברי א"ח היא תורת החסידות והולכים בהדרכותי' ומנהגי'.

...It is already known my opinion which I have written to several of Anash, that regarding the village and settling there—it is a channel and vessel for Anash to receive the blessings of Hashem and His success in all their needs, both materially and spiritually. Therefore, one should strive to be among its residents as much as possible... From the above it is understood that it is good to engage in agriculture, and if the above reasons are true that it is impossible, perhaps there is room for another profession—as long as one is among the residents of the village and lives among those who are attached to the teachings of our forebears, namely Chassidus, and who follow its guidance and customs.
