3279 —הרמז לי' שבט מהפסוק שבט העשירי יהיה קודש לה'

The hint for Yud Shevat from the verse 'Shavet Ha'asiri yiheyeh kodesh l'Hashem'

מנחם זאב גרינגלס — Menachem Zev Greenglass   ב"ה, ט"ז שבט, תשט"ו ברוקלין.
The Rebbe writes about the connection between Yud Shevat and the verse 'Shavet Ha'asiri yiheyeh kodesh l'Hashem,' explaining that the Divine Name combination for Shevat is found in the adjacent verse. This concept is elaborated in Etz Chaim, Shaar HaShemot, chapter 7.

... In continuation to the hint you heard regarding the month and day of the hilulah from what is written: 'HaShevet HaAsiri Yihiyeh Kodesh LaHashem' (the tenth tribe will be holy to Hashem) — the Divine Name combination associated with the month of Shevat is found in the following verse: 'HaMer Yamirenu V'hayah Hu' (if he exchanges it, then it will be). (This is from [source] for Tevet and Shevat). The concept of this combination is explained in Etz Chaim, Shaar HaShemot, chapter 7.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that Yud Shevat is hinted at in the verse about the tenth tribe being holy to Hashem, and that a unique Divine Name combination for Shevat appears in a nearby verse. This mystical idea is further explained in Etz Chaim.
