מ"ש אודות נסיעה. הנה אין הזמן גרמא לזה כלל בשעה שבאה"ק ת"ו ישנה עבודה רבה כ"כ והתחילו בזה רק במקצת מן המקצת וכל יום שעובר היא אבדה שאינה חוזרת, ובפרט בענין הפצת ספרי חסידות והעיקר הפצת הדרכותי' ומנהגי' שבענין האחרון כנראה לא התחילו עדיין כדבעי...

Regarding what you wrote about organizing Nshei U'Bnos Chabad: In the end, it was necessary to arrange a detailed program for several months, both in matters of study and in matters of action. There is much material from which to choose in both categories; it just requires that some of them devote themselves and work on this with proper energy. Likewise, all those who have influence over the women and girls should do everything they can in this matter, and surely they will see good fruit from their efforts...
Regarding what you wrote that people approached you with complaints about why Yud-Tes Kislev is called "Rosh HaShanah for Chassidut": See at length on this topic in the introduction to Kuntres Umaayan, where it also brings what was said by the leaders of the opponents in our previous generation—that those of this generation have not reached even their heels. Also, regarding the complaint about calling our Rebbe the Alter Rebbe "our first father," I do not understand at all what the difficulty is here. It is brought many times in the words of our Sages that a student calls his teacher "my father," and it is explicitly written: "Avi Avi Rechev Yisrael Ufarashav" (My father, my father, chariot of Israel and its horsemen), even though he was not his physical father. Therefore, it is also understood that the first one in this study should be called "our first father," especially when we are speaking about a Nasi in Israel whose Shulchan Aruch is accepted throughout the entire world as halachic authority. The Nasi of Israel is called a father for generations, as stated at the end of Nedarim chapter five in Yerushalmi. And if the questioner does not know about this Yerushalmi, he should not challenge our holy leaders.
Regarding what you wrote about traveling: Now is not an appropriate time for this at all, since there is so much work to be done in Eretz HaKodesh (the Holy Land), and only a small beginning has been made. Every day that passes is an irretrievable loss—especially concerning spreading Chassidic texts and most importantly spreading its guidance and customs—in which it seems there has not yet been proper progress...
Certainly, at least from the day of the hilulah (anniversary of passing) onward there will continue among each member of Anash a special awakening that will extend over the coming days, weeks, and months.
