I received a letter from Rabbi Moshe Shapira of Tel Aviv, in which he informs me about the work he is leading to establish as many mikvahs as possible in our holy land, may it be rebuilt and established. Until now, they have already established over one hundred mikvahs in the transit camps of refugees (from Arab countries, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Poland, etc.).
Their main difficulty is obtaining the necessary materials such as bathtubs, pipes (tubes), cement, tiles, etc., which cannot be obtained there even for money.
Therefore, knowing your attitude and warmth toward the matter of Taharas HaMishpacha and mikvahs, I would like to ask if you have the possibility—through your influence—to obtain the materials they need there to build mikvahs.
