The esteemed chassid, vavac"h iy"a etc. Rabbi Yisrael Jacobson has conveyed to me your names as well as the two checks for Maamad and for the Yeshivah. The receipts for these have been given to Rabbi R.Y.D., may he live.

The names you provided I will, as you requested, mention at the Tziyun of my father-in-law the Rebbe hk"m at an auspicious time, and he will surely bestow his blessing.

I hope that you and your household will be good vessels to receive the Rebbe's blessings in both material and spiritual matters.

One of the ways to prepare these vessels is by keeping the shiurim that the Rebbe hk"m instituted: every day a portion of Chumash with Rashi from the weekly parsha, Tehillim after Shacharis as divided by days of the month, and Tanya as divided by days of the year by the Rebbe hk"m.

I assume that you will certainly fulfill these shiurim, and I would be pleased if you inform me about this.

Presumably you give tzedakah from time to time—and not only materially but also spiritually; that is, to seek to influence your acquaintances to draw them closer to Torah, mitzvos, and fear of Heaven.

And when one truly desires this, Hashem helps to find the right words and ways to have a good influence on another person. This also strengthens oneself—one becomes stronger personally—and likewise among one's family there is a strengthening in Torah study and observance of mitzvos. This is the desire of our Nasi, my father-in-law the Rebbe hk"m.
