הנה לפ"ד שני ענינים על כל פנים:
א) ניכרת בהכתיבה זהירות גדולה שלא יהי' ניכר כלל שהכותב הוא ג"כ מחסידי ליובאוויטש. וחבל על הטרחא בזה ראשית כי כבר עבר הזמן שהי' מקום לחשש אשר עי"ז שידעו את הנ"ל יהיו קישויים בעניניו ועתה נהפך הוא, והשנית כי כבר נודע הדבר אשר מחסידי חב"ד הוא וא"כ ההשתדלות להעלים ללא תועלת. ואדרבה.
ב) קורת רוח היותר גדולה של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ הוא שיהיו כל פעולותיו חיות קיימות והולכות וגדלות ולכן כל מאמר וידיעה פון א גוטן פריינד צריך להשאיר אצל הקורא רושם אשר העבודה הולכת ונמשכת ומתפתחת ולא רושם של הספד לחוד.
בודאי הוקל כבר לאמו תי' וילך מצבה הלוך וטוב ויהי' בידו להודיע בשו"ט בזה.
אחתום באיחול וברכה אשר הוא וכב"ב שי' כל אחד ואחת בפרט זאלן האבן א געזונטן און רוהיקן זומער בכל מקום שהם בכל הפרטים

In response to your letter: Thank you for sending the excerpt from your article about... and regarding your question if anything should be changed, etc.
In my opinion there are at least two points: A) It is evident in the writing that there is great care taken so that it should not be apparent at all that the writer is also among the Chassidim of Lubavitch. It is a pity to make such an effort. Firstly, because the time has passed when there was reason to fear that if it became known, there would be difficulties in one's affairs; now the opposite is true. Secondly, it is already known that you are among the Chassidim of Chabad, so this effort to conceal is pointless—and on the contrary.
B) The greatest satisfaction for my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m, is that all his activities remain alive, enduring, and growing. Therefore, every article and report from a good friend should leave the reader with an impression that the work continues and develops—not just a feeling of eulogy alone.
Surely things have already become easier for his mother tichyeh and her situation will continue to improve for good, and you will be able to report good news about this.
I conclude with wishes and blessings that he and his entire family—each one in particular—should have a healthy and peaceful summer wherever they are, in all details.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches not to hide one's Chabad identity in public writings; instead, one should openly reflect ongoing growth and positive activity. Concealment is unnecessary today and genuine impact comes from showing living continuity rather than focusing on loss.
