Shalom u'Vrachah!

Enclosed is a booklet that has just been printed. Surely you will use it to bring merit to the many, and the merit of the many depends on him.

We are now in the midst of the days of Sefirah. From everything one can learn a lesson in serving Hashem, and from a mitzvah in particular one can learn an even fuller lesson.

Sefirah teaches us—among many other things—that time is precious and must be counted continuously. If one misses a day, it causes harm not only for that missed day but also for the days and weeks that follow. However, when one does count properly, then the subsequent days and weeks are blessed.

And we say: Elokeinu—our strength and our life-force. Melech HaOlam—He runs the world (so it is understood that all good must and will be given by Him to those whom He calls "My firstborn son Israel"). This applies to all people. And especially to those who have influence over many others—their actions are reflected among many Jews.

In particular, those who have already succeeded in influencing the public must certainly utilize every opportunity—and also seek new opportunities—to strengthen Torah and Judaism and to spread Torah and Chassidus.

And my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m said that there is an established principle regarding outreach: it never returns empty-handed.

The undersigned sends regards to those influenced by him; wishes for a recovery for his wife tichyeh; and success in his work to radiate light in his surroundings.
