Custom of Fasting Before Visiting the Ohel

The Rebbe relays a custom from the Previous Rebbe that before going to the Tziyun and Ohel, one refrains from eating but is permitted to drink. This practice is noted in Likkutei Sichos volume 11, page 207.

שמעתי מכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ שקודם ההליכה על ציון ואהל - נוהגין שאין אוכלין אבל שותים*.

Shalom u'Vrachah!

I heard from my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m, that before going to the Tziyun and Ohel, it is customary not to eat but drinking is permitted*. Printed in Likkutei Sichos vol. 11 p. 207. The date is according to a copy.
