בתודה אאשר קבלת מכתביו מט' יוד ניסן, ותנוח דעתו כאשר הניח את דעתי, במה שנשאר עתה על משמרתו ומקומו, בזמנים אלו שכל הענינים והמוסדות צריכים שמירה מעולה וחיזוק ביותר ותוספות התפשטות הן כלפי חוץ והן כלפי פנים.
בדבר הר"מ שי' ליפסקר בטח עושים בזה בזריזות ות"ח אם יודיעני מהתוצאות הטובות. בדבר הרבנות של בהכנ"ס מאנטאווידעא, לפע"ד צריכים להשתדל ביותר אם רק יש אפשרות, שיתקבל הרה"ח וכו' צאלער, הוא סיפר לי כי התראה פה עם הרב לאנדזשער מי שהי' רב בבהכנ"ס הנ"ל מלפנים והוא הי' הראשון אשר סיפר לו עד"ז וגם הבטיחו לסייע בידו ולהמליץ בעדו - אבל רק אם יפנו אליו מבית הכנסת ולא שהוא יהי' המתחיל. - כן סיפר לי הר' צאלער שע"פ דרישת בהכנ"ס כבר שלח להם סקירה קצרה אדות עצמו והמקומות שלמד וכיו"ב. בטח גם כת"ר זוכר את הר' צאלער ויש לקוות שבאם יסתדר בבהכנ"ס הנ"ל יהיו תוצאות טובות לא רק לבהכנ"ס כי אם בהיקף יותר גדול.
אמש נתקבל מהדז. ז' ובאשר אין כל ביאור בזה יודיעני אם זה בעד אפריל.
בטח מסר נ' לועד הסניפי מע"ח ובקשה להוסיף ע"ח המל"ח ועוד כ' לועד הסניפי, נ' להר"נ שי' נעמאנאוו בעד תו"ת, כ"ה להרש"ז שי' דוכמאן לחלק שם להשייכים לבית רבקה (כי שמעתי שהרש"ז הורוויטץ התראה עמו - או למסור באופן אחר).
הקבלות צריכים להיות מאנשים פרטים המקבלים ע"ש "בית הכנסת חברי שערי תורה בני אברהם".
מפני קדושת המועד אין אני בא על החתום.
בטח קיבל במועדו הקונט' לחה"פ ופרסמו באופן המתאים.

With thanks I acknowledge receipt of your letters from the 9th and 10th of Nissan. You can be at ease knowing that you have set my mind at ease by remaining at your post and location during these times when all matters and institutions require exceptional vigilance, strengthening, and increased outreach—both externally and internally.
Regarding R. M. Lipsker: surely you are acting swiftly in this matter, and I would appreciate it if you inform me of the positive results.
Concerning the rabbinate of the synagogue in Montevideo: in my opinion, every effort should be made—if possible—to have Harav Hachassid etc. Zaeler appointed. He told me that he met here with Rabbi Landzher (who was previously rabbi of that synagogue), who was the first to inform him about this matter and also promised to assist him and recommend him—but only if he is approached by the synagogue itself and not if he initiates contact. R. Zaeler also told me that at the synagogue's request he already sent them a brief overview about himself and where he studied, etc. Surely you also remember R. Zaeler, and it is hoped that if he is appointed in that synagogue there will be good results not only for the synagogue but on a broader scale.
Last night I received from the Joint a sum marked "Z." Since there was no explanation attached, please let me know if this is for April.
Surely N. has given to the branch committee from Maamad Chayei Olam funds and requested to add from Melach funds; also wrote to the branch committee; N. to R. N. Naamanov for Tomchei Temimim; K.H. to R. Sh.Z. Duchman to distribute there among those connected with Beis Rivkah (as I heard that R. Sh.Z. Horowitz met with him—or perhaps it should be delivered another way). The receipts should come from individuals receiving on behalf of "Beis HaKnesses Chaveri Shaarei Torah Bnei Avraham."
Due to the sanctity of the festival I am not signing this letter personally.
Surely you received in time the kuntres for Pesach and publicized it appropriately.
