בתודה רבה הנני לאשר בזה קבלת שני מכתביו בצירוף העתק סיום מכ' כ"ק אדנ"ע ע"ד לה"ק העתק מכ' הנ"ל מימי כ"ט תמוז ד' מנ"א ו' מנ"א משנת עזר"ת ור"ד מר"ח ניסן (בלי הוראת שנה) וי"ח שבט עטר"ת ת"ח על העבר ובקשה רבה על העתיד להמשיך בכגון דא בהעתק הני מילי מעלייתא. ופשיטא אשר כל ההוצאות הכרוכות בזה (שכירות מעתיק וכיו"ב) עלי לסלקם כפי הוראתו.
תודה פרטית מקול"ע בעד העתק המכ' מיום כ"ט תמוז הנ"ל שכנראה הוא הי' כתוב לאאמו"ר נ"ע, ובפרט אשר לא עלתה בידי אמי מורתי שליט"א להביא אתה לכאן מאומה מכתי"ק וספרי אאמו"ר נ"ע.
מכין אני עתה לדפוס מפתח מאמרי כ"ק אדנ"ע. והנה באותן הפעמים שלא הי' מאמר חדש כ"א חזרת אותו שכבר נאמר פ"א כמובן אין כתב המאמר בגכתי"ק ומחפשו אני בביכלעך והנחות אנ"ש והתמימים, ואולי ישנם מאמרים ששמע או יודע אודותם ואינם בקארעקטן המוסג"פ?
את מכתבו לכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א ראיתי אבל לא מצאתי בו מה שלפענ"ד הוא העיקר, היינו שמות האנשים באה"ק ת"ו שהם יוציאו מן הכח אל הפועל מה שיחליטו לעשות בשינוי מצב החסידות שם, כי כמה וכמה החלטות נתקבלו נבחרו ועדים וכו' ומפני מניעות שעל אתר אשר טבען ידוע לו בטח עוד בעומק יותר מאשר לי לא באו לפועל ע"ע, והאריכות לדכוותיה הנמצא שם בודאי אך למותר.

With much thanks I hereby confirm receipt of your two letters along with a copy of the conclusion of the letter from my honored father-in-law regarding the holy matter, as well as copies of the aforementioned letter from the days of 29 Tammuz, 4 Menachem Av, and 6 Menachem Av from the year Azarat and R"D from Rosh Chodesh Nissan (without indication of year), and 18 Shevat Atarat. Thank you for what you have sent so far and I greatly request that you continue sending such valuable copies in the future. It is obvious that all expenses involved (such as scribe fees and similar) I will cover according to your instruction.
A special thank you from Kol Yaakov for the copy of the letter from 29 Tammuz mentioned above which apparently was written to my late father; especially since my mother was unable to bring here any original manuscripts or books belonging to my late father.
I am now preparing for print an index of my honored father-in-law’s discourses. In those instances when there was no new discourse but rather a repetition of one already said previously—as is understood—there is no manuscript in his handwriting. I am searching for these in booklets and notes from Anash and the Temimim. Perhaps there are discourses you have heard or know about that are not included in the attached corrected list?
I saw your letter to my honored father-in-law the Rebbe shlita but did not find in it what seems to me most essential: namely, names of people in Eretz HaKodesh who will actually carry out whatever is decided regarding changing the state of Chassidus there. Many decisions have been made—representatives chosen and witnesses appointed—but due to local obstacles (whose nature you surely know even better than I), nothing has yet come into effect. The lengthy discussion on this topic found there is certainly present but unnecessary.
