Shalom u'Vrachah!

In response to your urgent letter from the 3rd of Shevat and those before it (your urgent letter reached us only on the 8th of Shevat, likely because it stayed with the Tzanzar):

a) One hundred English tablets have already been sent to you; please inform us soon how many more to send as there are many requests and it is uncertain if we will print them again.

b) The talk from Chai Elul and another collection of discourses and talks (Chicago 5702) are at the printer now and being proofread, as are our book volume II and part IV.

c) We ask our friend Reb Y.D. to write to you regarding what was asked about his trip.

d) We received a letter from Reb Yosef Radel and Reb M.A. Gerlitzky regarding "Beis Rivkah" in Montreal; we have already responded to them.

e) We are interested in the activities during the month of Teves regarding education as mentioned in your letter, their results, as well as information about the state of education that was acquired by the traveling students.

f) Thank you for your efforts with Mr. Dalfin; it does not matter to us if he pays in installments as long as it is secure. We have not yet decided what to print; we will notify you in due time.

g) The talks from Teves were already sent to you before your letter arrived; regarding the Koveitz HaGadol we informed the office.

h) We were pleased with your news about expanding the "Shabbos Gatherings" and are interested in hearing more details about this.

i) Mr... has not spoken with my father-in-law the Rebbe shlita about printing a booklet; therefore please clarify this matter immediately, bring it to a good conclusion, and explain that whoever increases is praiseworthy, and that increasing quantity can lead to an increase and elevation in quality.

j) Regarding the list of memories – for over a year this has been discussed, and after all efforts only one list was sent, and that is all. In your letter you explain that "Reb Y.Y. Weinberg until now did not have time for this!" Imagine yourselves if someone else was writing and you were reading—what impression would such an excuse make on you?

k) Please notify on a separate note which talks and booklets—from those published overseas—you require and how many of each; I will pass this on to those responsible for sending. If more are found over time they will be sent to you.

l) To Rabbi Kalman Taranta they should write a letter of inspiration as per your instruction.

m) Regarding what you wrote that it is good to say now that he wants to come here several times during the year: our Sages said about this (Yalkut Shimoni Tehillim 19), David is compared etc., and it is ruled in Tur and Shulchan Aruch (Admur Hazaken), Orach Chaim section 282 paragraph 8; what they said about four weeks is based on their own advice itself.

n) It is very surprising that for a long time nothing has been received toward paying off the debt, which continues to grow.

o) As requested, enclosed is a letter regarding Mishnayos recited by heart concerning only Nigleh; if there are any comments or insights from listeners or readers please inform us.
